CUSTARD COOKIES

 Custard cookies


Ingredients 

1 cup butter

1 cup sugar

1 egg

4 tbsp custard powder

2 tsp baking powder

1/4 tsp essence

Enough flour to make a soft dough- do not over put. 

I forgot to take measurements for it. (Should be around 1 3/4 cup)

Method

Grind sugar in blender till fine. The add to butter add beat well until fluffy. 

Add in the egg and essence and beat.

Add the custard powder and baking powder and mix. 

Add in the flour to for a soft but manageable dough. Line a baking sheet with wax paper. Put the dough in the biscuit press and make biscuits. Top with perils and glitter or anything of choice. You may even colour the batter.

Bake at 325 degrees till slightly golden. Allow to cool completely and then store in an airtight container. 

For the chocolate biscuits i sifted +jú8i cocoa powder on the amout of batter i needed and added a few tsps of milk and knead it well till incorporated.
