Lab-e- shireen is a rich creamy dessert with fruits, custard pudding, dried fruits and jellies..
A dessert for any occasion...
Lab-e- shireen
1 litre milk
1 cup sugar
2 tbsp rice flour
2 tbsp custard powder
1 cup coloured vermicelli
Bring milk to boil.
Add in the sugar
Add in the vermicelli let it Cook untill soft
Mix rice flour in 4 tbsp milk and make a paste
Make a paste of custard powder with milk (+- 3 tbsp)
Add into the milk
Allow to cook untill thick not too thick..
Remove from heat
Allow to cool
1 cup cream lightly beaten (not stiff peaks)
Add in 1 tin fruits (or cut up any fruit of your choice) add to cream
3 different jellies red, yellow and green ( make according to box instructions)
Cut in cubes
Almonds and pistachios
Add the cream mixture into milk and add jellies and almonds and pistachios
Mix well
Decor with jelly, almonds and pistachios
Refrigerate serve chilled
