CRISPY CHICKEN STRIPS


CRISPY CHICKEN STRIPS


500g chicken fillet 

Cut into strips, (wash, rinse & drain)

Add

1 tabs lemon juice

1/4 tsp salt 

1 tsp chillie powder

1/2 cup plain yoghurt

1 tsp ground garlic

1/2 tsp aromat

1/2 tsp  mixed herbs

1/2 tsp ground red chillies

1/2 tsp chicken spice

1/2 tsp  Barbeque spice 

1/2 tsp Grill Spice

1/2 tsp lemon pepper spice


Marinate chicken with the above for an hour. 


COATING

1 cup Self Raising flour 

3 tabs maizena flour

1 cup of cornflakes crumbs 

2 eggs


In a bowl mix the self raising flour and maizena.together . Beat the eggs.

Dip chicken into the flour mixture and then dip into the eggs and roll into the breadcrumbs .

 Deep fry on medium heat till golden brown
