BURFEE



Burfee

This is a quick and easy burfee with a smooth kind of texture 


500 g klim( khoya) 

2 cups sifted icing sugar 

50 ml melted butter or ghee

1 teaspoon cardamom powder 

10 ml nestle cream 

Coloured almonds for topping 


Syrup.

2 cups sugar. 

1 ¼ cups water


METHOD


Boil sugar and water to form a sticky syrup. 

Sift icing sugar and klim)(khoya)mix

Rub melted butter or ghee into klim and icing sugar 

Add cardamom powder and nestle cream. 

Add klim to the syrup

Mix till smooth and creamy. 

Set and shape immediately 

Pour into a greased tray lined with wax rap 

Sprinkle with coloured almonds. 

When cold cut into 

squares. Make round balls and dip in white chocolate
