Chapli kabab




Chappli kebab

You need 1 kg lamb mince

Minced onions and green chilli 

I egg

1 1/2 tsp salt

2 tsp corriander powder

2 tsp cumin powder

1 tsp garam masala

1 tsp ginger powder

2 tsp ginger/garlic paste

400g tin of chopped tomatoes 

Handful of chopped corriander

1/2 cup cornflour

1 1/2 cup of besan (gram flour)

Method: mix all of the above ingredients in a bowl and knead till all mixed. 

Cut the sides of a carrier bag. 

Make 4 balls of the kebab mix and place on carrier bag. Cover with top of carrier bag and press with a plate. Then you can deep fry or shallow fry till golden brown. Enjoy with naan or burger buns or just on their own with delicious green chutney. If you don’t want to use a carrier bag then you can make the kebabs with your hands.
