BURGER PATTIES
1 kg beef mince
1 tsp salt
1 heaped tsp course pepper
1 tsp AROMAT
1 heaped tsp garlic (or chopped garlic chives )
1 Tblsp ginger
1 large onion
1 bunch coriander
Green chillies to taste
2 slices stale bread or 1/2 cup
breadcrumbs
PS To make patties gluten free replace bread with potato or boiled starchy rice or rice flour
1. Process onion, coriander roots and stalks,green chillies and bread till fine but not completely smooth
2. Add to mince with all seasonings, chopped coriander l
eaves and mix well.
3. Make balls and shape patties and place on a tray lined with plastic ... layer patties with plastic in between so they don’t stick to each other.
4. Use straight away or fast freeze then pack into an airtight container ( individually wrapped or with plastic in between)
5. Grill in oven or pan fry when required.
6. This recipe makes 8-10 patties depending on size
