Chicken Biryani
1 kg chicken
1 tbls ginger and garlic paste
2 tbls lemon juice
2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp tumeric powder
4 tsp chillie powder
1 tsp coriander powder
1 tsp gurum masala
2 tsp crushd cumin
4 whole elachi
2 stick cinnamon
1tsp hole cumin
1/2 tsp zaffron essence
1 curryspoon fried onions
1/2 cup maas
3 tomatoes grated
2 tbls tomato paste
1/4 cup fresh cream
1 curry spoon ghee
2 curry spoon oil
4 medium potatoes cut up, coloured and fried
1 cup boiled masoor (boil with 1/4 tsp tumeric powder and 1tsp salt
2 1/2 cups rice (precooked )
1. Marinate meat with all spices .
2. Place ghee and oil in a pot.
3. Add marinated chicken
4. Cook for 15 minutes.
5. Add fried potatos.
6. Sprinkle masoor over.
7. Place foil over masoor and poke holes on foil.
8. Spread pre cooked rice over.
9. Drizzle 2tbls ghee over, 1/4 tsp zafron essence and 2tbls fried onion over rice. Sprinkle 1/2 water over, turn sides of foil over rice.
10. Steam in preheated oven at 180 for 1hour.
