NAANKHATAI 

1 c Solid Ghee

1 c Sugar or Caster Sugar 

1/2 teaspoon bicarbonate of soda 

1/2 teaspoon cardamon  powder 

Pinch of salt

1 egg yolk

2 tablespoon ground almonds

2 tablespoon dessicated coconut 

2 tablespoon Semolina 

2 - 21/2 c flour sifted 

Handful of halved Almonds

Preheat oven to 180 ° C . In a mixing bowl add Ghee Sugar Bicarbonate of soda Cardomon and Salt. Beat on medium high speed till light and creamy.  Add Almonds Coconut and Semolina . Mix well.  Lastly add flour one cup at a time to get a nice sift dough.  Roll small  into your palms place one half almond on each ball onto baking tray. Bake for 10 minutes. Naankhatai are ready to serve .
