Crumbed calamari
500g frozen squid rings, thawed
1/4 cup flour
1/4 cup cornstarch
1 large egg
1 tablespoon milk
1/4 tsp paprika
½ tsp salt
1/4 tsp ground black pepper
1 cup Pablo/cornflake/bread crumbs
1 cup vegetable oil for frying
Wash and drain calamari, pat dry with paper towel
Mix the flour, cornstarch and seasoning together
Lightly beat the egg with the milk
Dip the calamari in the seasoned flour then the egg and crumbs.
Heat the oil until hot, fry the calamari until brown on both sides for a minimum of 30 seconds. Enjoy
