Chicken Curry
Whole Chicken cut in pieces
1 Onion sliced
1 whole green chillie
1 stick cinnamon
1 - 2 cloves
A pinch of whole coriander
A pinch of methi (fenugreek) seeds
A pinch of black mustard seeded
1 -2 Tomatoes cubed
1 Tbs Tomato puree
1 tsp Ginger paste
1 tsp garlic paste
1 1/2 tsp Dhania( coriander)
1/2 tsp coriander powder
2 tsp Garam Masala
1/2 tsp Paprika
1 tsp Chicken spice
1 tbsp chopped coriander
1 tbs chopped spring onions
Salt to taste
1/2 tsp Black pepper
1 tbs Yoghurt
2 Ice cubes Coconut milk
A few cubes of Bittergrud
1 marrow cut in slices
Fry onions with whole cinnamon, cloves, methi seeds, black mustard seeds, green chillie and cumin. Once onions turn slightly pink add chicken. Fry until colour changes then add all the spices listed above, together with the Bittergrud&marrow. Cook until gravy is nice and thick and Bittergrud and marrow are soft. Garnish with fresh coriander Serve with roti, rice or Puris.
