 Malai Chicken Boti

500g chicken fillets cut into large cubes 

1/2 cup double cream yogurt 

1/2 cup fresh cream

1 tsp black pepper powder

Salt to taste

1 heap tsp garam masala

1 tbs kasuri methi crushed

1 tbs ginger garlic paste

Green chilli paste to taste

Juice of a lemon

Handfull of grated cheese, i used white gouda

4 tbs corn flour

4 tbs oil

.

Marinate the above for 2 to 3 hours minimum.

Place onto skewers and grill, braai or pan fry till done.

For pan fry and oven grilled boti; I smoke mine once the boti is done with charcoal.

Place the cooked chicken boti in a tray or bowl which has a lid or use foil. ( place a hot red coal onto a small piece of foil and pour little oil on top of the coal. It will begin to smoke. Quickly cover the lid and allow the chicken to absorb the smokey flavour.)

Serve hot with chutney and salad.
