Apple Pie


 APPLE PIE


Centre of pie to add with apples after boiled:


1 cup seeded dates

1 cup water  xa at e

2 teaspoon cinnamon 

1 tablespoons lemon juice 

Liquidize and keep aside. 


Cut up 4 and half red apples. 

Add water. 

Place in pot and boil on 

Low heat. 


Crust.¹

2 cups of almonds flour

Quarter cup seeded dates.

1 tablespoons flax flour

Apple cider vinegar 1 tablespoon 

Pulse, while on 2 tablespoons of water. 


Line pyrex dish with small dash of coconut oil as the crust will stick to the bottom and edges.

Place in crust mixture and press down and to the sides of your pie dish, when done poke with a fork a few times so the air can be released whilst in the oven. 



In preheat oven to 350 degrees put crust for 10 minutes.



For the crumble on top:

1 cup walnuts

Half cup seeded dates and half cup rolled oats

1 teaspoon lemon juice then pulse.


When the apple is cooked add :

add quarter cup water mixed with 2 tablespoons cornstarch and mix in apple mixture. This will prevent pie from being soggy and absorbs the extra water.


• Place apple mixture on top of the crust , then top with crumble. 


Bake for 25 to 30 minutes at 350 degrees.
