 Easy Butter Chicken 



INGREDIENTS

-1 chicken (cut & washed)

-1 ½ tblspns chicken tikka masala

(Marinate and keep aside)

Prepare the sauce ingredients:

-1 ½ tablespoon fresh chopped coriander

-2½ teaspoon arad (Turmeric)

-salt to taste (approx 1 teaspoon)

-¾ teaspoon chilli powder

-½ teaspoon curry powder

-¼ cup onion + ¾ cup fresh tomato without the skin (liquidised)

-1 teaspoon brown sugar

(Mix all of the above together and keep aside)

Other ingredients:

-175g butter

-1 teaspoon oil

-½ cup single cream

-2 or 3 while green chilli (optional)


METHOD

1.)Warm butter and oil on medium heat, add the green chilli, fry for 2-3 minutes. Then add the marinated chicken.

2.)When the chicken is browned, add the sauce mixture and continue to cook on medium heat until the chicken is almost done, then add the single cream and cook till it boils and the sauce thickens. Taste salt,add more if needed. Remove from the cooker and garnish as desired.

4.)Serve with plain boiled rice, savoury rice, naan or Roti.
